Fall Into The Gay Gap Ad!

For all of us fashionable queers who grew-up in the suburbs, spending your cash at The Gap was a rite of passage. From JC Penny’s jeans bought by Mom, to super hot mock turtle necks and denim shorts – Gap was the leader in kid’s fashion way before other retails sauntered onto the scene.
Yeah, yeah, yeah I hear you kids- YES, Abercrombie & Fitch and Urban Outfitters are YOUR fondly remembered brands…..But some of us Gen X-ers remember back a bit further….
So, it made my big (old) gay hart gow two sizes bigger when The Gap debuted a big old gay in Los Angels! Look at that stuff! Homo-heaven!ter la
Sure, they are kind of a little late to the game. For a retailer that has employed (my first boyfriend Cliff was a Gap manager!) and clothed more homo’s then Halston, they are a bit overdue for some target marketing to the butt-pirates. I mean, we’ve had to subsist on Abercrombie & Fitch homo-erotica for years! Still, better late then never. For a company so firmly engrained in suburbia, this is awesome!
