Did you have fun this weekend at Pride?  Get goosed and gayed enough? Great! Now back to reality people! Can’t be all fun, games and glitter!

Retired NFL defensive lineman Esera Tuaolo came out in 2002 after nine years of playing pro football.  Hooray!

The same Esera Tuaolo was arrested & charged with domestic assault & disorderly conduct this week. Booooo !

Tuaolo released the following statement to the press:

“This is a private situation that has gotten blown out of proportion by the media. My personal relationship is very dear to my heart, and it upsets me deeply that this private matter now has to be played out in front of the public. I love my boyfriend, and I am now focused on my loving family; I ask everyone for privacy as we work through this.”

The former Minnesota Viking said there is more to the story than what is being reported by the media, (AWAYS! The media hasn’t yet begun to tell us how Nicolde Kidman’s daughter is really her niece or how the Moon landing was faked…) and that he looks forward to telling the full story at the appropriate time.

While we certainly believe that Mr. Tuaolo should be considered innocent until proven guilty, we also hope this story reminds all of us that domestic violence isn’t just a hobby of the str8 community.  Violence and abuse also sometimes cast an evil shadow on same-sex relationships, and it is often even more under-reported then heterosexual relationships.  Guess it is hard for a dude to admit his dude is smacking him around…Still, it ain’t right.

As I have detailed in previous blogs, me and the trannie team from 1800GayLive have been running around the country meeting’n greeting peeps in dozens of cities for Gay Pride. We mingle, drink, snap a few pics, take some video, dance a bit, drink a bit more, fondle shocked locals, and generally spread the good will and good times to as many good looking boys as possible.

It has been a boatload of fun. But now that I am nearly 28, my old bones can’t take this much whoring.  Plus, it is dam hot in some of these cities!  The combination of these two issues has forced me to wear basically nothing while asking people if I can sit on their lap.  Yes, I know that sounds slutty….

This weekend, we are wrapping the whole she-bang up…Our team of power-bottoms is criss-crossing the country in a might gay gauntlet! Here’s were you can catch us:

Don't Kiss In Public

Both of these ads were REJECTED by Clear Channel Outdoor after being submitted to appear on billboards for St Pete’s upcoming events. REJECTED!  And we all know, no gay likes to be rejected!  Oh no Miz Thing!

The rejection has prompted St. Pete Pride to cancel its entire contract with Clear Channel.  Take that haters!

The interesting thing here is that Clear Channel did approve two other ads…Check them out….

Oh, that explains it!  Your vague non-answer is clearly NOT homophobic!  The dumping of the innocent “couple” images has understandably pissed-off organizers. They responded to Clear Channel with this note:

“The images that were not selected do not contain anything that is sexual, immoral, illegal or otherwise offensive in nature. I’m almost certain that you have had billboards in the market which display men and women in both friendly and romantic ways. I can’t seem to understand where these images would be any different, except for the fact that they portray two men and two women, respectively.”

So, what do you think gentle reader?  What is the dealio here?  Personally, all I can think is …”Wow…  Clear Channel with some more excellent decisions.  Nice work,  idiots.”

Kroell has been promising to get naked for Playgirl for months now– and he’s finally pulled his tight little jeans down and gave us a peak at his seet tenderloins. Sneak-peak NSFW pics were surfing the web over the weekend, but the legal team at Playgirl clamped down and asked sites to remove the photos. The 1800GayLive team spend last week cha-cha-cha-ing with some of the hunkiest flesh all over the state.  But, we want to meet with as many guys as possible across the country!one.  I’m looking for a dream man in every city and every time-zone.  1800GayLive will be handing out swag and documenting the proceeds via  1800GayLive television cameras! I was running around several PRIDE events this weekend with the 1-800 Gay Live gang, so forgive me if this post is a little spacey.  (The heat in Austin was JUST right, and I had a helluva good time…)

Derek Lloyd Saathoff: Yum!

Logo’s (the GAY network) is churning out a sure-fire hit for us with a  “gay housewives” show.  To ensure it’s complete success, they’ve stocked the bitch full of  fame-hungry, gold-digging, vapid, attractive, horrible peeps.  In fact, most of them were formerly porn stars “models.”

Initially this trainwreck was going to be called Kept, and detail the fantastic lives of rent boys!  Now tentatively titled The A List, this hot mess  is scheduled to hit the cablezone this fall after taping in NYC this summer.

Our cast of characters include:

Reichen Lehmkuhl :  The former The Amazing Race winner, former Air Force flyboy, formerly Mrs. Lance Bass and professional gay spokesperson.  By the by, did you read his book?  Page turner!

Rodney Santiago: Brazilian super-model and Reichen’s current boyfriend.

Mike Ruiz: Okay, this daddy actually has a job! He’s a pretty respected photographer.  Years ago when I interned at HX, I met him.  Sweet guy, friendly and talented.  You’ve probably seen him on  America’s Next Top Model and RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Austin A. : Like most of New York, this guy dated Marc Jacobs.  Pretty unknown beyond that.  What’s your dealio Austin?

Derek Lloyd Saathoff: A former model turned modeling agent!  Shocking! He’s also so pretty your eyes bleed glitter when you look at him.

Ryan Nickulas: NOT a model, actually a hair salon owner.  There’s a stereotype there I think.

It is GAY PRIDE month!  The one month out of the year we homosexuals get to dance around, kiss boys, and sing Lady GaGa as loud as we can!  Wait, I do that all year…Okay, well this is just the month when I do a lot more of it….

To celebrate Gay Pride, 1800GayLive is hitting the streets to celebrate across the country.   Our street teams will be mingling with hundreds of thousands of people celebrating in Detroit, Tulsa, Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, New York, San Francisco and St. Petersburg.

The 1800GayLive team members want to meet with as many guys as possible across the country.  They’ll be handing out some very “useful” swag.  (Wink-wink, nudge-nudge)  But that’s not all.  We’re also sending out our own 1800GayLive television cameras to talk with men from coast to coast!  We want to know why YOU are so filled with Pride.  What is your favorite position?  Is Zac Effron a top or bottom?  What do you look for in a guy?
